In the last academic year before starting school, children at Magic Moments take part in forest school, ICT and P.E in various local Primary Schools to strengthen links, offer a smooth transition and give them a head start for school. Children also visit the library weekly, explore Worcester woods regularly and a music teacher visits fortnightly. Children also benefit from Spanish lessons as one of our staff members speaks fluent Spanish.
At Magic Moments we feel that it is important to be able to work on high ratios of staff to children, as this enables us to extend children ideas and learning outside of the “classroom”. For example, if the children are designing and making boats to discover if they float or sink, we are able to take them to the local “Rocky” and test their boats in the stream.
